To facilitate the construction of road tunnels as part of the Woodsville Interchange upgrading project, the stretch of Bendemeer Road between PIE and Whampoa North will be realigned closer to the former SCDF Camp. The junction of Bendemeer Road, MacPherson Road and Serangoon Road will also be signalised.

The realignment of Bendemeer Road will take effect from 1 September 2008 at 5am and will last for a period of about 3 years until the road tunnels are completed.

Traffic directions will remain unchanged during the road realignment.
