The Land Transport Authority will be implementing a new traffic scheme at the junction of CTE and Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 on 28 February 2009 from 10am.

In conjunction with the implementation of the new traffic scheme, the existing U-turn along Ang Mo Kio Ave 1 between Mei Hwan Road and the slip road to CTE (City) will be relocated to the new signalised junction of CTE and Ang Mo Kio Ave 1.

This is part of the widening works for Ang Mo Kio Ave 1 between Bishan Road and CTE.
