To facilitate the construction and completion of the new Circle Line Marina Bay Station and associated tunnels, the East Coast Parkway (ECP) at Marina South in the direction of Changi Airport will be diverted. (Please see Annex A).

The ECP diversions will be carried out in two phases. Phase I diversion will involve a section of the ECP (eastbound) and will be implemented on 31 May 2009, Sunday at 0100 hours. (Please see Annex B). Phase 2 diversion will be announced at a later stage.

In the course of the two-phase diversion, a works area will be designated between the two bounds of the ECP after Phase I diversion. During this period, heavy construction vehicles will enter and exit the works area in both directions of the ECP.

For the safety of the public, advance road traffic signs will be prominently displayed to alert and direct motorists along the affected stretch of the ECP. Motorists are advised to slow down and be cautious when approaching the works area and to follow the directional signs as displayed.
