To facilitate Downtown Line 1 construction works, the Land Transport Authority will be reconfiguring the junction of Robinson Road and Cross Street; and the junction of Cecil Street and Cross Street on Sunday, 31 January 2010 from 6am.

The reconfiguration involves the construction of two traffic islands at the junction of Robinson Road and Cross Street; and the construction of a new slip road from Cecil Street to Cross Street.

Please refer to the attached maps for more information on the new traffic schemes at the two junctions.

The reconfiguration of Cecil Street and Cross Street junction and the Robinson Road and Cross Street junction are expected to remain in place till March and October 2010 respectively.

Directional and information signs will be placed along the affected roads to inform and guide motorists.
