Come Saturday, 17 July 2004, from 3.00pm onwards, motorists travelling between the city and Tuas along Jalan Buroh will be able to bypass the traffic junction there by using the new flyover, shaving minutes off their travelling time.

Located at the junction of Jalan Buroh and Penjuru Road, the 370 metres flyover has three lanes in both directions. Construction of the junction began in August 2001 and the project is one of several to upgrade the West Coast Highway.

As the final stages of road works are still being carried out along the at-grade road underneath the flyover, motorists are advised to drive carefully and to follow the directional signs on display.
