The section of Nicoll Highway between Middle Road and Republic Avenue will be temporarily closed to traffic in both directions from Wednesday, 1 December 2004, 11.00 pm to Saturday, 4 December 2004. This is to facilitate road works for the reconstruction of Nicoll Highway.

Motorists are advised to use Republic Avenue and Republic Boulevard to get to Kallang and the city. Motorists are also advised to drive carefully and to follow the directional signs on display.
