From 7 April 2001 (Saturday), the weekly bidding exercises for vehicle registration numbers will start earlier on every Saturday at 8.00am and end one day earlier on every Tuesday at 4.30pm. The main bidding exercise for new vehicle series will also start on Saturday at 8.00am and end on the following week?s Saturday at 12.30pm.

In response to public feedback, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) has decided to reschedule the opening of bidding exercises to a Saturday to make it more convenient for the bidders who wish to submit another bid for the next bidding exercise. Bidders will also be able to use their cashier orders from their last unsuccessful bids to submit the new bid.

Currently, weekly bidding exercises for vehicle registration numbers start from Monday at 8.00am and end on Wednesday at 4.30pm while main bidding exercise for new vehicle series start from Monday at 8.00am to Saturday at 12.30pm (please see table).

Bidding results will be released about six working days after the closing date of a main bidding exercise and about four working days after the closing date of a weekly bidding exercise. Those who have submitted bids can check their results through the 24-hour Land Transport Authority (LTA) Infoline at Tel :1900-9140900, as well as through the One.motoring website (http://www.onemotoring.com.sg).
