| Realignment Of Lanes Due To Construction Of Stage 2 Of Circle Line |
To facilitate the construction of Stage 2 of Circle Line, the following roads will be realigned: Hougang Avenue 3 A stretch of Hougang Avenue 3, near the junction of Kim Chuan Road and Hougang Avenue 3, will be realigned on Monday, 10 November 2003. Two lanes along Hougang Avenue 3, in the direction of Hougang, will be closed on Saturday, 8 November 2003 at 2.00pm. Two lanes along Hougang Avenue 3, in the direction of Eunos, will also be closed on Sunday, 9 November 2003 at 2.00pm. For both lane closures, the remaining one lane will be closed only after works on the first two lanes are completed and traffic is diverted to the new lanes. This realignment will be in place until the third quarter of 2005. Paya Lebar Road A stretch of Paya Lebar Road, between Circuit Link and BP Petrol Kiosk, will be realigned on Saturday, 8 November 2003 at 8.00pm. The pedestrian walkway will also be realigned accordingly. This realignment will be in place for about two months. A stretch of Paya Lebar Road, from Sims Avenue to Paya Lebar MRT station, will also be realigned on Sunday, 9 November 2003 at 5.00am. This will be in place until the third quarter of 2004.
